Dear Friends:

While The Chart House Inn strives to make ever facet of your visit to Newport a truly enjoyable experience, we also realize the need for a few guidelines.

Arrival & Departures

Check in time is between 3:00 pm & 7:00 pm unless otherwise arranged.

Check out is by 11:00 am unless otherwise arranged.

Room and Inn Damage Guests agree to maintain rooms and property in a responsible and courteous manner. We expect our guests to treat the inn as if they were in their own home. The Chart House Inn is a smoke free environment. Guests may smoke on the porch if they utilize the proper receptacles.   

Due to fire codes we cannot allow candles in the rooms or anywhere within the inn.  

Occupancy  A maximum of 16 guests may occupy the inn at any one night with a maximum of two guests per room.

Payments and Deposits

Reservations will be confirmed upon a receipt of a 50% deposit of the total reservation amount including all applicable taxes. Rates are based on double occupancy. The balance is due 14 days prior to arrival. 

Cancellations, Reservation Dates & Changes

• Deposit Refunds – A 15% processing fee will apply if cancellation is received 30 days or before the arrival date.
• For cancellations within 30 days of arrival, a credit in the form of a gift certificate for the amount of deposit will be issued for use within one year of the original arrival date.
• A 20% cancellation fee will apply if cancellation is within 30 days.
• No refunds are given for early departures or no-shows.

Children

Well behaved and supervised children over the age of eight years old are welcome.
