Room 1 is a Queen sized poster bedroom featuring Greek Revival style columns. A solid oak, turn of the century armoire and leather wingback chairs enhance the bedrooms features. The Newport Artillery and scenic Clarke Street are viewed through the inns original large bay windows. A vanity is conveniently placed within the bedroom and a full, private bath is just steps down the hall.
Rooms 2 and 3 are furnished with two single beds, nightstands and have large windows, allowing lots of natural light to enter the space. The original carved mantle of the fireplace add style and elegance to the room. An antique dresser and closet are furnishings enclosed in each room. A private bath for each bedroom are just steps down the hallway.
The two Suites are similar to an apartment, furnished with a Queen poster bed, dresser, bedroom closet and fully enclosed bath. The sitting area and DirecTV are near the modern kitchenette with wet bar, coffeemaker and refrigerator. We have a Suite located on the second floor and one on the third floor.
Room 5 is at the top of the inn on the third floor. This bedroom has a Queen poster bed with antique dresser and a closet. The private bath is attached to the bedroom for privacy and comfort.
Room 6 is located on the third floor. The bedroom is furnished with a Queen bed, ceiling fan, antique dressers and has a full, private bath on the second floor.
Room 7 is on the third floor. The bedroom is tastefully decorated with a Queen poster bed, antique dresser, closet and nightstands. Soft lighting enhances the blue and brown color scheme. A full bath is just across the hallway for this bedroom.

Common Living Areas
All of our guests enjoy out large living room furnished in nautical style. The living area is filled with comfortable leather couches and club chairs, coffee tables, books of local interest and DirecTV with Blu-Ray player. The large living room is adjacent to the original parlor room, furnished with gas fireplace, bar area and loveseat. Guests enjoy sitting in the parlor to browse local flyers and maps of Newport and to plan their activities.
Our dining room with original hardwood floors and mahogany sideboard welcomes guests each morning to a complimentary Continental breakfast. Many of our guests meet and socialize as they plan their day in Newport. The dining room seats 14 guests and allows your group to celebrate a special occasion or event.
Grilling Area and Parking
The Chart House Inn is happy to provide a professional, five burner gas grill and picnic tables for guests who enjoy cooking outdoors. Our grill is located beside the inn and seats 10 people.
